Default Encoding TV shows from DVD source

Hi,

I totally understand how to encode from bluray using megui, however i have the west wing on dvd and am trying to encode.....

after using anydvd, i have 7 vob files which are the contents of the disc, however they only have 4 episodes on them and are not split to each episode...

how do i encode them using megui and be able to split the 7 vobs into just 4 episodes....

im stuck....!

thanks
mat

ok so i might be wrong here, but dug around for some info.... do you just encode as per normal using each vob file (1gb files) using the d2v function and encode audio and video to your specific measures and then afterwards split the file with avs cutter?

if so how do you do this and also how do you join the files that have been split over 2 vobs?

DG creator usually singles out a specific episode/video, unless the studio really messed up with the transfer. Look at the numeric sequences and pick the first part for each episode.
